Crime Scene Cleaning in Northumberland
Crime scene cleaning is very different from everyday cleaning. Blood, bodily fluids and other biohazards can carry a real infection risk, so they have to be removed, decontaminated and disposed of properly. Our team in Northumberland cleans and sanitises the affected areas, treats lingering odours, and takes the waste away under our Environment Agency Upper-Tier Waste Carrier Licence (CBDU6228708).
We also help families, landlords, letting agents and businesses after an unattended death or a traumatic incident. We know these are distressing times, so we work respectfully, discreetly and without judgement. Read more about our crime scene cleanup service.

Our Specialist Services in Northumberland
Local Knowledge: Northumberland
Northumberland is the largest and least densely populated county we cover, stretching from Blyth on the coast to Hexham inland and Berwick-upon-Tweed up towards the Scottish border. Properties here are often more spread out — farms, smallholdings, and rural cottages as well as market-town housing — so access and travel time genuinely vary more here than anywhere else on our patch, and we factor that into how we schedule rural jobs. (Approx. 39 miles from our Hartlepool base, as the crow flies.)
Northumberland FAQs
Do you cover rural farms and isolated properties, not just towns?
Yes. A good proportion of our Northumberland work is on farms and rural properties rather than town-centre addresses, and we're used to the extra access planning that involves.
Is your response time the same in rural Northumberland as in towns like Morpeth or Alnwick?
Response times depend on where you are in the county. Whether you are in a town like Morpeth or Alnwick or at a remote rural property, we will give you an honest, specific arrival time when you call rather than promise something we cannot deliver over a longer distance.
Do you work near Berwick-upon-Tweed, right up by the border?
Yes, Berwick-upon-Tweed and the surrounding area are within our Northumberland coverage, though as with any rural job that far out we'll confirm timing at point of contact.
What does crime scene cleaning in Northumberland involve?
Crime scene cleaning is specialist work, not ordinary cleaning. We remove blood, bodily fluids and other biohazards, clean and decontaminate the affected areas, treat lingering odours, and take the waste away lawfully, so the property is safe to use again.
Are you licensed to remove and dispose of biohazardous waste?
Yes. We hold an Environment Agency Upper-Tier Waste Carrier Licence (CBDU6228708), so biohazardous waste from your property is carried and disposed of lawfully.
Can you help after an unattended death?
Yes. We clean and decontaminate after unattended deaths, including odour treatment, and we do it respectfully and discreetly. Call us on 07488 262426 at any time and we will talk you through what happens next.
